It's Christmas, Carol!

As we slowly make our way back to live and in-person theatrical performance, I know I’ve realized how profoundly I missed the spirit of community and connection engendered by this art form. It’s Christmas, Carol! epitomizes that sense of communal joy while harnessing the power of theatre through spectacle, song, dance, and the athleticism and virtuosity of performers of the highest caliber working at the top of their abilities to bring it all to life.
On a more personal note, as an Iranian-American director, it is of special meaning to me to direct a holiday show that is for everyone, that democratizes the tradition such that people of all backgrounds can feel seen, heard, and represented. That is my personal mission in the work I create, and it feels particularly paramount during a time of year when I hope we can celebrate and cherish our shared humanity.

Notes to Audience

Strobe lights and loud noises are used in this production.

• All audience members, including children, must present proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination at least 14 days prior to performance date, OR a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the performance time, OR a negative rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours. (A photocopy or digital photo is fine.)
• Audience members 16 years and older must present a photo ID or school ID at the door. (Note: Children under six years of age are not admitted to any ticketed event.)
• All audience members must wear masks.

It’s Christmas, Carol! is a treat for the entire family. While packed with slapstick physicality, sparkling verbal wit, music and mayhem, the rapid-fire dialogue does contain occasional innuendo.
