Kirk E. Smith is an award-winning educator and conductor who’s taught and performed extensively throughout the country and abroad. Recently named the co-principal conductor of the New Black Music Repertory Ensemble at Columbia College, he has worked with many well-known artists such as violinist Robert McDuffie, Nexus, the Barrett Sisters, Alvin Singleton and performing groups, including the Atlanta Symphony and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. He is the founder of Smith Music Associates and Orchestra Unlimited.
