ASL Interpreter, The Cymbeline Project

Stephanie Feyne is delighted to return to OSF. Theatre has always been one of her passions. At home in NYC, she has interpreted On- & Off-Broadway as well as for the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park. She was one of the four instructors for the annual “Interpreting for the Theatre Seminar” offered by Theatre Development Fund in collaboration with The Juilliard School. When not interpreting for theatre, she works as a community interpreter and educator, and has had the privilege of interpreting for national and international conferences. She is a member of RID, NAD, CIT, BDA, WASLI & WFD. Her research on the impact of the discursive choices of ASL-to-English interpreters has been published by International Association of Translation and Intercultural Studies (IATIS) and Gallaudet University Press.
