Stephanie Farina is a Chicago-based sound engineer, musical mixer, and A2. Her regional theatre credits include mixing for 10 seasons at the Goodman Theatre, where she was also the head of the audio department. Other regional credits include working at The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Michigan Opera Theatre, Broadway in Chicago, and Drury Lane Oakbrook. Stephanie’s design credits include Fannie at the Goodman Theatre and Seattle Rep (Associate Sound Designer), Forever Plaid at Drury Lane Theatre (Associate Sound Designer), The Lightening Thief, Head Over Heels, Songs for a New World, Chess: the Musical at Illinois Wesleyan University (Sound Designer), Fun Home at Kansas City Reparatory (Associate Designer), Mamma Mia, 42nd St, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat at Drury Lane Theatre (Assistant Designer), Hephaestus and Trust at Lookingglass Theatre (Assistant Designer), Good Negro, Venus in Fur (Assistant Designer), and The Music Man (Associate Designer) at the Goodman Theatre. Stephanie’s pre-Broadway credits include War Paint, Disney’s Jungle Book, and Pretty Woman. Her production work includes War Paint (Nederlander Theatre Broadway) and Heartbreak Hotel (Broadway Playhouse). In addition to her theatrical work, Stephanie is an adjust professor at The Theatre School at DePaul University. She is the Rental Manager at Aria Music Designs. Stephanie is a proud Journeymen in the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 2 of Chicago.
