Director of Movement & Associate Director, Jane Eyre

Roberta is a multi-hyphenate artist from Modesto, California, and is thrilled to return to OSF for her third season as the Movement Director and Associate Director for Jane Eyre! In 2017, Roberta was a member of OSF’s professional development program, F.A.I.R., as the Assistant Director for The Merry Wives of Windsor. Roberta has since earned her MFA in Directing from the University of Memphis (UofM), where she recently directed The Rocky Horror Show. Roberta directed and produced a virtual episodic series of Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida, and was a co-producer for Blk Girls Luv the Bard’s virtual 3-show season. Other credits include Romeo and Juliet (Director; Tennessee Shakes), Beehive (Associate Choreographer; Center Rep), Paradise Blue (Intimacy; Aurora Theatre), Dance Nation (Intimacy/Choreo; UMass, Amherst), Stupid Fucking Bird (Assistant/Intimacy; Playhouse on the Square). Roberta was awarded an Ostrander Award for her Intimacy Choreography on Intimate Apparel, and the Young Artist of Promise Scholarship from the University of Memphis.
