Designed more than 650 productions for theatre and opera in the U.S. and around the world. Recent work includes: Rocky Das Musical (Stage Entertainment, Hamburg, Germany); The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, The End of the Rainbow (Broadway); Martha Clarke’s Garden of Earthly Delights (Off-Broadway); David Adjmi’s new play Marie Antoinette (American Repertory Theater); Franco Dragone’s K’DO! (Foret Nationale, Brussels); Anne Bogart’s production of Norma (Washington National Opera). 

Awards: Tony, Drama Desk, Henry Hewes Design, Outer Critics Circle awards for The Light in the Piazza; Obie Award for Sustained Excellence in Lighting Design; the Michael Merritt Award for Design and Collaboration, and numerous nominations for the Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Outer Critics Circle and Tony Awards, among many others.
