FAIR Dramaturgy & Literary Assistant, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Come From Away
Chloe Otterson (she/her) is a teaching artist, dramaturg, director, writer, producer, and performer who is passionate about community-based theatre, new work, and arts outreach. She loves using Shakespeare to empower student voices and tell specific stories. An antiracist Shakespeare scholar, her research interests include adaptation and contemporary performance studies. Chloe is a Shakespeare & Company affiliated education artist and she has worked with a variety of theatres and schools including the Shakespeare Theatre Company and Great Lakes Theater. Chloe also has experience as a classroom teacher, most recently serving as the Director of Theater at St. Paul’s School. Education: (MA) The Shakespeare Institute at the University of Birmingham, (MS Ed) University of Pennsylvania.
