Fresh, local, exuberant Celtic band playing high energy tunes.

Jug of Punch is a local Ashland favorite that you can find playing most weekends at local establishments such as Paddy Brannon’s, and The Playwright. The group is lead by Daniel Carr who plays Mandolin, Guitar and is known to sing a tune from time to time. Daniel makes his home in Ashland and has studied Irish, Galician and Peruvian folk music in his journeys around the world. 15 year old Sean Connors joins Daniel playing a lively, enchanting fiddle as though he were channeling an old soul. Sean learned to play the fiddle in Seattle, where he is a regular at the Folklife Festival. Sean moved to Grants Pass a couple of years ago and hit it off with Daniel and they have been playing together ever since. The Jug of Punch was recently featured in the Ashland Daily Tidings.

Jug of Punch on Community: Jug of Punch is a folk music band. The members of the group come from distinctly different communities. Daniel is a student and is working on his Masters in Education at SOU. Sean will be a Sophomore at Grants Pass High school and hopes to one day become a pilot.
