Performing in the 2014 Green Show Thursday, June 26 and Firday, July 18.

This is their third season in the OSF Green Show.

We sing for peace, social justice, and a healthy environment.

The Peace Choir is in its eleventh season. We perform at a variety of venues throughout the Rogue Valley and beyond. Performances have included MLK Day events in Medford and Ashland, the Ashland Festival of Lights, Labyrinth and Earth Day celebrations, as well as the Northwest Folklife Festival and the International Peace Park in Hiroshima, Japan. We have collaborated with choirs from throughout the region in joint peace concerts in Ashland, Eugene and Portland.

Rogue Valley Peace Choir on Community: We consider the world our community as we sing for peace on many levels. We sing in different languages to expand our knowledge and to extend our outreach.  Over the years we have sung in Swahili, Sanskrit, Spanish, Japanese, Hebrew, Arabic and Latin as well as English. We participated in the Green Show in 2008 and 2011 and enjoyed those opportunities to share our music with visitors from outside the Rogue Valley. We often presented concerts and music workshops at the Youth Correctional Facility in Grants Pass.
