High-energy New Orleans Style Brass Band

The Navy Band Northwest Brass Band performs throughout the Pacific Northwest for public concerts and educational outreach. The Brass Band is comprised of two trumpets, two trombones, a tenor saxophone, drum set, and a baritone saxophone playing bass parts. The group’s versatility shines with a diverse repertoire including jazz, New Orleans standards, funk, and an assortment of popular cover songs arranged for this energetic instrumentation.  The group consists of talented Navy musicians, providing a high impact performance for audiences of all ages and walks of life.

Our job is to represent the Navy through public concerts and community interaction. Many people have little or no exposure to the military, and music is a way for us to show a different side of the military.
