Jane Doe

Vivia Font and Co. (Jane Doe and the Man)

Performing in the 2014 Green Show on Wednesday, August 13 and Friday, August 29.

This is their first season in the OSF Green Show.

Re-infused Blues by OSF actor, Vivia Font, with all-star Ashland talent.

This group of musical fierceness was gathered in August 2013, as part of a private exploration led by actress Vivia Font as a Midnight Project at OSF. Thus gathered this group of amazing talent including OSF musicians from hit plays of the 2013 season including Mike Fitch (The Unfortunates) on drums, Jesse Baldwin (The Unfortunates, bands: Hamfist, Kites & Crows) on organ, Evan Davidson (The Taming of the Shrew) on guitar, bass player Greg Frederick (Rogue Suspects) and trumpeter Joe Romano (The Checkmates). This year the group adjusted and expanded to include Steve Spalding on bass, Kimberly Fitch (Into The Woods) on viola and backup singers Royer Bockus (Into the Woods, Two Gentlemen of Verona) and Peter Frechette (The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window, The Great Society, Into the Woods), this now octet (always welcoming guest artists from OSF and beyond) is hitting the Ashland circuits. With varying credits from around the country, having hit albums, enjoying many successes in blue grass, R&B, rock, indie, and just listening and singing along the radio we have a wide range of experience and the courage to throw ourselves into the unknown. Enjoy.

Jane Doe on Community: We will be playing around the Ashland Community. Fans of Rock, Blues. The folks seeing Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window and Two Gentlemen of Verona.
