Sean Walton is an actor, writer, and director. Sean comes to this production having just finished the run of The Color Purple (Grady/Mister US) at the St. Louis MUNY, also directed by Lili-Anne Brown. Previous theatre credits include the title role in Edward II, Belize in Angels in America, Andre in Ain’t Misbehavin’, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, Little Moe in Five Guys Named Moe, Jimmy in Grand Hotel, and Sawyer in Harriet Jacobs at such theatres as Steppenwolf, Drury Lane, The St. Louis Black Rep, Porchlight Music Theatre. Sean served as Executive Producer and Showrunner on the short series COMMUNE, and co-wrote the book and lyrics for Blacktacular! Television and film credits include Scrooge & Marley, Hogtown, Sirens. As an advocate and board member with the mental health organization NoStigmas, Sean wrote and directed dozens of PSAs and served as emcee for their annual Celebrate Life event. Sean is dedicated to numerous causes, Queer storytelling, and social justice.
