Jonathan Fisher

Stephano and Ensemble in The Tempest

Jonathan Fisher is thrilled to be at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for the 2022 season. Jonathan comes to Ashland by way of South Florida, Chicago, Rhode Island, and Southern California, and holds a degree in Theatre and English Literature from Northwestern University. You may recognize him from his 11-game winning streak on Jeopardy! in 2021. Some favorite recent theatre credits include: the title role Henry V, Angelo in Measure for Measure and as adapter, co-director and playing Richard of York in Henry VI, Part One (Shakespeare by the Sea); Leontes in A Sad Tale’s Best for Winter (Beating of Wings at A Noise Within); Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (A Noise Within); Elevada and Tribes (Chance Theater); Macbeth (Sacramento Theatre Company); and Poins in Henry IV, Part One (Shakespeare Orange County). Special thanks to my parents and love to Anna, Milly, Leo, and Clover.
