David Anthony Lewis is returning for his seventh season at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He graduated from Cornish College of the Arts late last millennium with a BFA in Acting, having specialized in the classics, including several years of ballet and stage combat. Earlier in ’26, he played Theseus and Oberon for the inaugural season at Union Arts Center in Seattle in a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Desdemona Chiang. He spent 8 seasons doing 37 productions at the American Shakespeare Center in Virginia, and has performed all across the nation in musicals and Shakespeare for over 80 Equity contracts. His wife and best friend Sarah Dale also works at OSF; he has three children and three grandchildren, and three pets—together they all are the joy and pride of his life!
