Pam Hammond

Pam  Hammond Pam Hammond, Ashland, Oregon, and her family moved to the Rogue Valley in 1993 from Los Angeles. Ms. Hammond spent the prior 15 years as a buyer for the May Department Store chain, buying for 45 stores in womens ready to wear. She and her husband purchased Paddington Station, a 10,000 square foot gift store in Ashland in 1993. They have worked hard to position Paddington as the destination shopping experience in downtown Ashland. In 2005, Paddington Station was awarded the prestigious national Retail Excellence Award in store design. In 2008 Paddington was recognized by the gift industry as one of the 25 most "gifted retailers" in the country. Ms. Hammond is featured monthly in the "We Ask" column of the industry's trade magazine Gift and Decorative Accessories, and has been a featured speaker at several national gift shows. Ms. Hammond has served on the Ashland Chamber of Commerce for four terms, serving as President of the Board for the 2009 year. She has volunteered her time to various task forces and commissions for the City of Ashland. She currently plays flute with the Southern Oregon Concert Band. Ms. Hammond is married to Rick Morris. She has two children in Ashland. Her daughter Kelly is a senior at Notre Dame de Namur University majoring in vocal performance: and her son Nick is a sophomore at Ashland High enjoying crew team, choir and boy scouts. Ms. Hammond is happy to call Ashland her home. She has been an OSF member since 2004 and attends regularly.
