Crater Lake National Park
Crater Lake was formed when Mt. Mazama erupted nearly 7,000 years ago. Activities include boat tours, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and lectures. For detailed information, visit

Lithia Park
If you're attending the Festival you're bound to visit Lithia Park. The 93 acres of ground follow Ashland Creek though expansive lawns, undeveloped woods, a Japanese garden, ponds, and other features. Activities in Lithia Park include tennis, volleyball, picnicking, hiking, playground activities, concerts, walking tours, and swimming...or just sitting and enjoying the scenery. Remember to try the water from one of the park fountains — it contains Lithium, which is purported to have multiple health benefits.
