skateboarding
The professionally designed Ashland Community Skateboard Park offers three bowls, stunt blocks, and pyramids for the skaters in your family. Helmets are required and skate monitors are on duty in the summer.

ice skating
Enjoy outdoor ice skating at the Darex Family Rink, located in Lithia Park at the corner of Nutley and Winburn Way. The rink is open seven days a week from November through February. Hours are usually from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but please call for a detailed schedule: (541) 488-9189.
swimming at Hunter Park
The Daniel Meyers Swimming Pool at Hunter Park is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. For pool information, please call (541) 488-0313.

The Ashland Youth Climbing Program (AYCP) holds free climbing sessions, lessons, and climbing and outdoor lifestyle camps. Many of their programs are free.

Crater Lake Junior Ranger Program
Kids 6-12 years old can become Junior Rangers at the Crater Lake Mazama Campground Amphitheater. The Program is held from July 2 through Labor Day on Fridays and Saturdays at 5 PM.
