The authentic Festival Experience encompasses a rich offering of offstage events to enliven your visit, including backstage tours, talks by OSF artists, the Green Show's diverse and eclectic variety of performers and much more.

This walking tour explores the history, design and technology of repertory theatre. Visit OSF's three theatre auditoriums and areas behind the Elizabethan Stage. Reservations are required; please include tour reservations with your ticket order. OSF Members who receive complimentary tour tickets must also make reservations. Note: The regular tour is a walking tour and has six flights of stairs.

Enjoy a vibrant and diverse community of performance artists comprised of both national and local talent on the Festival Courtyard Stage. Performed nightly from June through early October before the evening plays.

spring talks and park talks
Spend an hour with actors, directors and other company members of OSF who share their knowledge about the Festival and theatre in general, followed by a question-and-answer period.
These informal talks with members of the OSF company are free and take place either in Carpenter Hall (in the spring) or in the Bill Patton Garden (in the summer). Please check back for a list of speakers.

A diverse group of performing artists presents a series of concerts at Noon in Carpenter Hall. Tickets are required and are available at the Box Office. $9 adults, $8 members, $6.75 youth (ages 6-17). Please check back for specific concert details.

daedalus project

The Daedalus Project, OSF’s annual AIDS Benefit, marking its 21st year, features a famously lively variety show on the Elizabethan Stage August 18 at 7:30 p.m. ($30, $25, no refunds or exchanges for this benefit) as well as an onsite auction, a special afternoon play reading, and the 5k run/walk through Lithia Park on Sunday, August 17.

palo alto chamber orchestra
The renowned youth orchestra from Palo Alto, California, celebrating its 42nd anniversary season, performs a special concert on the Elizabethan Stage. Monday, June 30 at 8:30 p.m. $12 ($8 OSF and JPR Listeners' Guild members, students and seniors).

Join us Thursday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. for Odon von Horvath's Figaro Gets a Divorce, a contemporary comic tale of love, exile, divorce and other adventures, featuring members of the OSF acting company, and directed by Phil Killian Fellow Gisela Cardenas.
