2013 FAMILY DAYS
Family Days are all about connection--bringing families of every kind together to experience the amazing work on our stages, with the finest play preparation in the business by our talented Education Dept. In 2013 we'll offer the following Family Day performances. These special $20 performances, accompanied by a free Prologue before the play, are subject to ticket availability and may only be purchased by calling the Box Office at 1.800.219.8161.
For Family Day ticket offers, one adult must accompany every four children. Children must be between the ages of 6 and 17. School groups are not eligible for Family Day offers.

Scienceworks Museum
Hands-on activities, state-of-the-art exhibits, and live performances make the ScienceWorks Museum fun for everyone in the family.
Southern Oregon University, Youth Programs
For over 25 years, SOU Programs has been delivering creative, dynamic, educational hands-on programs to curious young minds, throughout southern Oregon. We invite your kids, ages 6-18, to Explore, Discover and Dream throughout the year with SOU Pre-College and Youth Programs. (541) 552-6331.
Parks
The City of Ashland Parks and Recreation Department offers myriad youth programs throughout the summer.
YMCA
The Ashland Family YMCA provides a wide range of activities for youths of all ages year round.
Skateboarding
The professionally designed Ashland Community Skateboard Park offers three bowls, stunt blocks, and pyramids for the skaters in your family. Helmets are required and skate monitors are on duty in the summer.
Iceskating
Enjoy outdoor ice skating at the Darex Family Rink, located in Lithia Park at the corner of Nutley and Winburn Way. The rink is open seven days a week from November through February. Hours are usually from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but please call for a detailed schedule: (541) 488-9189.
Swimming at Hunter Park
The Daniel Meyers Swimming Pool at Hunter Park is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. For pool information, please call (541) 488-0313.
Rogue Valley
Rogue Wilderness Adventure
Let's Go Jump In The River! Come spend the day rafting the famous Rogue River. Less than an hour from Ashland lies one of the best family rafting rivers in the country. Warm water, gentle rapids and expert guides will make your day special.
Crater Lake Junior Ranger Program
Kids 6-12 years old can become Junior Rangers at the Crater Lake Mazama Campground Amphitheater. The Program is held from July 2 through Labor Day on Fridays and Saturdays at 5 PM.
