TONE DEAF QUARTET

TONE DEAF QUARTET

Performing in the 2014 Green Show Thrusday, August 28.

This is their second season in the OSF Green Show.

We are Tone Deaf Comedy Quartet and proud of it!

The four members of TONE DEAF QUARTET are deeply in love with singing a cappella music and entertaining folks! Tom Walker (lead) is a grade school teacher in the Rogue Valley, Al Robins (Baritone) is a counselor who lives and practices in Ashland, Doug Borngasser (Bass) is a stay-at-home dad to 2 young boys in Grants Pass and Michael Biggs (Tenor/Eye Candy) is the manager of The Peerless Hotel in Ashland. The quartet been honing their craft and enjoying each others company since 2009. We performed our famous "Chicken Set" (during the 2013 Green Show Season) and the audience loved us!

Tone Deaf performs regularly both locally as well as regionally (in November 2013 we opened for Ed Asner in Reno Nevada). We also complete nationally & internationally with The Salem SenateAires in the world's largest a cappella singing competition (The BHS Internationals) taking 5th in 2012 & 11th in 2013.

Tone Deaf Quartet on Community: We are deeply rooted in the Rogue Valley. We love it here and feel blessed to be party of the local music community! Every Valentines day we do elementary school assemblies throughout the Rogue Valley singing for upwards of 2,000 kids! We also perform at retirement homes as well as a bevy of other local community events.

In March 2014 Tone Deaf Quartet has been invited by the Ministry of Education of the COOK ISLANDS to do a cultural music exchange. We are actively planning this trip and plan to create an exchange between our local schools and the schools of The Cook Islands.
