This is their sixth season in the OSF Green Show.

A journey into the rich musical history of Louisiana Blues.

Nelson made her Broadway debut as an evil flying apple in The Green Bird, a commedia play directed by Julie Taymor. She then went on to star in SWING! on Broadway and on the 1st National Tour. Other credits include The Canterbury Tales at The Guthrie Theatre, Michelle Philips in the Off-Broadway Production of Dream a Little Dream – The Mama’s and Papa’s Musical, the original cast of Radiant Baby directed by George C. Wolfe at the Public Theatre, and Sylvie in El Paso Blue off-Broadway at SPF. On television she played Lori King, the murderous con-artist in The District on CBS. Other TV credits include Guiding Light, New York Undercover, and the popular NY public access sketch comedy show, What’s Up. Sarah Jane played Sam in the award winning short film, Arff and Rachel in indie film, Friends First. She's recorded numerous commercials and voice-overs including: Arby’s, AT&T, Pantene, Game Show Network, and the Oxygen Network. Musically, Nelson performs her cabaret shows and her original country music concerts all over the US and she’s released three CD’s, A Little Bit of Everything, Saving Grace, and most recently, the critically acclaimed blues CD with Hawkeye Herman, Wild Women Don’t Get the Blues. At OSF she played the roles of Alma Hix in The Music Man and Lucy in Paradise Lost. She is the wife of former OSF actor, René Millán and the mother of Mateo age 5 and Rosalee age 7.
