Peter H. Koehler, Jr., Aurora, Oregon is currently USA Regional Counsel for NIKE, Inc. His duties include responsibility for the legal affairs of the company for the U.S. Region, management of the legal staff, and counsel to business units and management. Previously, Peter was with Tonkon Torp LLP, Portland Oregon from 1987 - 2002 (partner since 1990). From 1982 through 1987 he was an Associate with MacDonald, Hoague & Bayless, Seattle, Washington. Peter attended Boalt Hall School of Law, Berkeley, receiving a J.D, in 1982 having graduated with Distinction from Stanford University in 1978. Currently, Peter has professional membership with the Oregon State Bar, Washington State Bar, American Bar Association, and the American Corporate Counsel Association. Peters volunteer activities include Board of Trustees and Chair, Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (current); Board of Directors and Chair, Volunteer Lawyers Project (1988-1993); Board of Directors and Chair, Artists Repertory Theatre (1988-1998); Board of Directors and Chair, Multnomah County Legal Services for the Poor Committee (1989-1992).
