Inside Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream

Provides strategies for teaching this popular play. Fee includes tuition for a day and a half of class sessions, tickets to A Midsummer Night's Dream (Friday evening), The Clay Cart and the Saturday Noon Lecture. $235.

Shakespeare in the Classroom
(2 sessions: June 24 – June 29, July 8 – 13)
Offers a theatre-based, versus academic, approach intended to make the works of Shakespeare exciting and accessible for students. Active participation is required. For English and theatre teachers. Fee includes tuition, tickets to six plays and two lectures. Housing and one or two units of graduate credit in English or Theatre Arts through SOU, each for an additional charge. $600.

Gain insights into the plays of the 2009 season and ideas for teaching them. Attend the 2008 plays of your choice. $75 plus the cost of play tickets.
