A wonderful way to fully immerse yourself in the OSF experience! Spend a weekend or more with fellow theatre lovers while exploring one or more plays in depth. All classes include:

New this year! Class prices (excluding Wake Up with Shakespeare for Families) include a "class-only" option if you prefer to purchase your own tickets or attend the plays at another time.




unfolding: troilus and cressida (march 31 – april 1)

A weekend class devoted to Shakespeare's bracing look at warfare, love and loyalty. Tickets to Romeo and Juliet and The White Snake are available at an additional cost. Class and play ticket to Troilus and Cressida, $165; class only, $125.

A weekend class dedicated to Chekhov's first masterpiece, newly adapted and directed by OSF Artistic Director Emerita Libby Appel. Tickets to Animal Crackers, Medea/Macbeth/Cinderella and Troilus and Cressida are available at an additional cost. Class and play ticket to Seagull, $165; class only, $125.

wake up with shakespeare for families:
an intergenerational session (june 29 – july 1)
three days, four plays

Discover the joys of theatre and Shakespeare with our specially designed class for families with children age 12 and up. Participate in on-your feet workshops, interactive class sessions and lively discussions with this unique exploration of selected plays in the 2012 season. Class fee includes tickets to Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, Animal Crackers, The White Snake, and one Festival Noon event. Tickets to Henry V are available at an additional cost. ($435 adult, $341 youths 12 – 17.)

An introduction to and exploration of selected plays in the 2012 season taught by a scholar or theatre practitioner.
