unfolding: ruined (march 27 – 28)

A weekend devoted to exploring Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, set in the present-day Congo. Class fee includes a ticket to Ruined. Tickets to Hamlet, Well, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof are available at an additional cost. $155.

A weekend class focused on Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy, offering new insights into this compelling classic. Class fee includes a ticket to Hamlet. Tickets to Pride and Prejudice, Well, She Loves Me and Ruined are available at an additional cost. $155.

shakespeare comprehensive (july 21 – 25)
five days, four plays

An in-depth study of the Shakespeare plays in the 2010 season taught by a scholar. Class fee includes tickets to Twelfth Night, Henry IV, Part One, The Merchant of Venice, Hamlet, and one Festival Noon event. Tickets to American Night, Throne of Blood, Pride and Prejudice, Ruined and other Festival Noons are available at an additional cost. $480.

six days, seven plays

An introduction to and exploration of selected plays in the 2010 season taught by a scholar or theatre practitioner. Attend Throne of Blood, Henry IV, Part One, The Merchant of Venice, She Loves Me, Twelfth Night, Pride and Prejudice and Hamlet, as well as two Festival Noon Events. $680. Tickets to additional performances and other Festival Noons are available at an additional cost.

exploritas (elderhostel) programs

Exploritas is an educational program that features renowned and local experts as well as providing in-depth and behind-the-scenes learning opportunities. OSF provides the faculty for the Ashland program with sessions entitled "Oregon Shakespeare Festival: A Week at the Theatre" which includes morning theatre classes, a theatre tour and tickets to performances at OSF. Each program also includes other subjects which are often theatre-related.
