OSF offers FAIR opportunities in Company Management, Archives, Communications, Marketing, Development, Executive Direction and Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology Services and Education. Fellowships in this area may concentrate only on one field or may encompass more than one discipline. FAIR applicants for positions in Arts Management must meet the requirements specified on the "Four Distinct Awards" page.
In one season, the Company Manager serves the needs of company members and approximately 120 visiting artists. Tasks include maintenance of company housing, orienting new company members to OSF and surrounding areas, interfacing with stage management regarding the acting company’s work-related needs, addressing company transportation needs, and emergencies of all kind.
The Communications Department is responsible for all communications between the Festival and external stakeholders, with a focus on enhancing the Festival's local, state, national and international presence. The department manages the Festival's institutional branding, publications, media relations, public relations, archives, audience development, community relations, photography, film/TV/radio projects, and relations with Oregon’s and the USA's tourism and travel industry.
The OSF Marketing department is responsible for servicing an audience of 120,000 and a membership base of more that 20,000. Through an integrated marketing program including direct mail, telemarketing, e-marketing, advertising and a strong commitment to customer service, this department is responsible for revenue in excess of $16.8 million annually.
With an active board of directors and a large and loyal membership base, OSF remains one of the most highly supported theatres in the nation with contributed income exceeding $5.2 million to support annual operations. Executive Direction and Finance
Responsible for supervising all administrative areas of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Executive Director develops and articulates OSF's administrative policy and makes recommendations as appropriate to the Board; interprets and carries out all policies set by the Board. The Executive Director works with the Artistic Director and the Board of Directors to ensure the Festival's Mission Statement remains alive through regular strategic planning and to ensure a creative, supportive work environment for all OSF Company members. Ensuring that all Festival administrative operations are smoothly coordinated, the Executive Director focuses on creating a climate of teamwork among the senior staff members, oversees major building projects and the development of the annual budget. The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for supervising all elements of the Festival’s financial operations, including fiscal management, investments, risk management, budgeting support, and supervision of Business Office.

Information Technology Services
This department runs on a demanding schedule of technical expansion and maintenance procedures that support OSF artistic and business goals. These include help desk support, security systems, network traffic management, SQL database optimization, single sign-on authentication, and web search-engine optimization.
The Education Department offers a wide range of programs for students, teachers and audiences of all ages. Offerings include lectures, study guides, pre-show preparations, workshops, seminars, backstage tours, post-show discussions, and school tours. Participation in this department requires a passion for education, excellent organization and communication skills and a basic knowledge of word processing and database programs.
