Application deadline: June 1, 2009 for the 2010 season.

The FAIR Experience opportunities in Directing and the Phil Killian Directing Fellowship are two separate and distinct awards.  Read more about and learn how to apply for the Phil Killian Fellowship.

Dramaturgy and Literary Management

The Dramaturgy and Literary Management Department is a vital component to OSF. Members of this department research potential plays for each season, are assigned to individual productions, produce program notes, create director/actor packets, write newsletter articles, prepare rehearsal scripts, create theatre exhibits and frequently provide audience and community outreach presentations.

Application deadline: June 1, 2009 for the 2010 season.

Producing

This complex task includes building the season calendar, detailed scheduling, conflict adjustments, and other operational tasks and projects necessary for the effective operation of the artistic office.

Application deadline: June 1, 2009 for the 2010 season.

Design: Costumes, Lighting, Scenic and Sound

Design apprentices will work as an assistant on one or more shows with the resident designer. Responsibilities may include research, resourcing, attending production meetings and rehearsals. Apprentices will interact with the appropriate production shops, technicians and artisans throughout the construction process. Participation may include a portion of or full production sequence.

Application deadline: June 1, 2009 for the 2010 season.

Stage Management

Participation in this department requires a commitment to a full-time repertory stage management sequence. Stage Management administers the tasks necessary for the optimal functioning of rehearsal and performance which may include rehearsal room preparation, text bible supervision and interdepartmental communications.

Application deadline: June 1, 2009 for the 2010 season.
