The Education Department has a new In-Residence Manager!
How long have you been at OSF? Where are you from? Where did you go to school?
I arrived from Chicago, Illinois in mid-November. I am an Illinoisan hailing from a college town called Carbondale, IL that is just a little larger than Ashland. But like a lot of artist-educators I’ve moved around. A little time in St. Louis, New York and of course Chicago, where I completed graduate studies in Acting at the Theatre School - DePaul University. Go Blue Demons!
What led you to Theatre Education?
I first came to the work as an apprentice actor at the St. Louis Black Repertory Company. We toured shows and led workshops much like the School Visit Program here at OSF. I loved it! Ireally fell for the engagement that came with sharing the arts with communities and learning from their responses.
