Ashland, Ore.--The public is invited to join the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's new Artistic Director Bill Rauch and his artistic team for a Town Hall meeting titled "Community Connection & Conversation." The event will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17 in the Angus Bowmer Theatre.
This open forum discussion will be moderated by Lue Morgan Douthit, OSF's director of literary development and dramaturgy. The meeting is intended as a way for the public to meet Rauch and his staff and to ask questions about programming, playbill and future directions.
As Artistic Director at Cornerstone Theater for two decades, Rauch demonstrated his passion and commitment to communities throughout the nation, and he is equally passionate about OSF and its relationship with Ashland and the Rogue Valley. "From its very inception, OSF owes its existence to the support of the Rogue Valley community," Rauch recently noted. "As the new artistic director, I look forward to hearing what's on our neighbors' minds, and how we can continue to contribute to our community in the most meaningful way possible."
The public is invited to submit topics for discussion online to: townhall@osfashland.org.
